We are seeking a Senior Data Modeler to design and implement scalable data models that drive enterprise data initiatives. The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineers, architects, and business teams to ensure efficient, accurate, and business-aligned data structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business intelligence, analytics, and operational systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data structures.
Analyze existing data sources and recommend integration and standardization strategies.
Ensure data model performance, scalability, and maintainability using best practices and standards.
Perform data profiling and data quality analysis to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
Work closely with data engineers and architects to implement and optimize data pipelines.
Validate and optimize data models for efficient storage and retrieval.
Maintain documentation, metadata, and data dictionaries for developed models.
Stay current with data modeling trends, techniques, and tools to drive innovation.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
5–7 years of experience as a Data Modeler, Data Architect, or related role.
Strong knowledge of data modeling methodologies (dimensional, relational, and data vault).
Proficiency in SQL and data modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or equivalent.
Experience with data warehousing and ETL concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work across functions.
Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality practices.
Must be willing to work on-site with clients (Government, Telecom, Banking sectors).
