Responsibilities
- Manage and grow your existing shipper book.
- Quote, book, and manage loads from pickup to delivery.
- Source and book carriers using approved carriers, DAT, and Truckstop load boards.
- Prospect and secure new shippers within your established lanes.
- Maintain high service standards for your shippers and carriers.
Qualifications
- Proven track record as an independent freight agent or freight broker.
- Active book of business generating at least $10,000/month in gross margin ($120,000+ over the last 12 months).
- Ownership of your shipper relationships.
- No existing non-compete or non-solicit agreements covering your shippers.
- Experience with reefer, produce, or temperature-controlled freight is a plus.
