We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Security Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network security infrastructure. Responsibilities:
Network Security Design and Implementation:
Assist in the design and implementation of network security architectures to protect the organization's critical assets.
Contribute to security assessments and recommend enhancements to existing network infrastructure.
Firewall and Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems:
Manage and configure advanced firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security appliances.
Monitor and analyze security alerts, incidents, and lead incident response activities.
VPN Support:
Configuring and management of Virtual Private Network (VPN) solutions to ensure secure remote access and data communication.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex VPN-related issues.
Network Access Control:
Implement and maintain sophisticated network access control measures to restrict unauthorized access and ensure compliance with security policies.
Collaborate with other security teams to seamlessly integrate security measures into the network architecture.
Security Policy Support:
Support the development and enforcement of network security policies and procedures.
Stay informed about security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
Incident Response Support:
Assist in incident response activities, including forensic analysis and remediation efforts.
Contribute to documenting incident reports and recommendations for improving security posture.
Advanced Security Solutions:
Implement and manage advanced security solutions such as Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Email Security, and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, communication engineering or related field.
+2 years of experience in a network security role.
Relevant security vendor and industry certifications are desirable.
Proficient in the use of a wide range of network security tools and technologies.
Skills:
Advanced knowledge of WAF, firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN, network access control, and other security technologies.
Expertise in security risk management and vulnerability assessment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and security best practices.
