Salary Range: $125,000 - $135,000

Position Overview

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager (AGM) is responsible for supporting the operational success of the hotel by cultivating a positive, high-performance environment focused on people, product, and profit. The AGM will lead and collaborate closely with the department heads of Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Food & Beverage to ensure the hotel delivers exceptional service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage leadership teams.
  • Promote a positive and engaging work environment through trust-building, coaching, and transparent communication.
  • Actively connect with department staff—both individually and collectively—to foster alignment and morale.
  • Guide department heads in setting clear goals, outlining action plans, and establishing timelines for execution.
  • Monitor departmental progress and provide regular updates to the General Manager, including operational successes and areas needing improvement.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction through a focus on quality, safety, and brand standards.
  • Encourage innovative and solution-oriented thinking while upholding brand integrity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in a senior operational leadership role such as Assistant General Manager, Director of Operations, or Director of Food & Beverage.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry; hotel experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with reservation systems and point-of-sale (POS) platforms is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field—or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
  • Previous brand-affiliated hotel experience is a plus.

Compensation Range

The compensation for this position is $125,000.00/Yr. - $135,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
