Analytica is seeking a Business Process Engineer to support one or more dynamic, long-term federal government enterprise data, analytics and RPA programs for the Defense Health Agency (DHA).
This role requires direct experience working within hospital settings or with patient-level healthcare data and involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to assess clinical and operational workflows, develop strategies, and apply process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and Agile practices to drive continuous improvement.
The position will be onsite at Falls Church, VA or San Antonio, TX, with remote work options as approved

Responsibilities:
- Understand gaps in existing client systems/As-Is Processes and help the technology team to create the right technology-based solution fitment. Liaise with relevant people in the respective verticals/horizontals to understand and learn different processes and therefore recognize the right solution fit
- Evaluate existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and areas for improvement.
- Lead process mapping and workflow analysis activities across program functions.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives aligned with program goals and strategic objectives.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to collect data, assess needs, and gain buy-in for changes.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to design and refine processes.
- Monitor the outcomes of improvement initiatives and measure their impact on performance and efficiency.
- Document process changes and ensure alignment with compliance and quality standards.
- Provide training and guidance on process improvement with the best practices for internal staff.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, Healthcare Management, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or organizational development roles, with direct experience in hospital-based environments or with patient-level healthcare operations.
- Experience working with hospital workflows, clinical systems, or patient data is strongly preferred.
- 1+ years’ experience in RPA, Automaton and/or AI-ML implementations
- Proficiency in process mapping tools and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional improvement projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with performance metrics, dashboards, and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt)
- Experience with federal government healthcare programs (e.g., VA, DHA, DoD)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and either hold or be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance or higher
