Event Manager (Full-Time)

82DASH is on a mission to help brands collect real, authentic content directly from their customers - turning everyday users into their most powerful marketing asset.

We’re launching soon (with a focus on the US) and looking for a hands-on Content Marketing Manager to shape our voice, grow our waiting list, and build brand awareness using our own tool.

If you’ve got a love for authentic real content - we’d love to hear from you.

Tasks

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a series of community-focused offline events across key US cities — including pop-ups, creator meetups, and brand activations.

  • Work closely with the founding team to translate the 82DASH brand into physical experiences that spark connection and create content.

  • Source venues, manage logistics, liaise with vendors, and oversee event budgets from planning through to wrap-up.

  • Build relationships with creators, local communities, and early brand partners to drive attendance and engagement.

  • Capture UGC-style content at events — or manage creators who can — to feed our own marketing channels.

  • Collaborate with our marketing and design teams to promote each event across social, email, and press.

  • Maintain an event calendar and report on performance: turnout, feedback, content impact, and growth outcomes.

  • Support broader brand moments, launches, and partnerships with creative event thinking and execution.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience planning and running events — ideally for startups, creative brands, or community-driven projects.

  • Strong project management skills: you can juggle timelines, vendors, budgets, and last-minute curveballs without breaking a sweat.

  • Experience working with creators, influencers, or partners to co-host or promote events.

  • A visual eye and attention to detail — you care about how things look, feel, and come together in a space.

  • Comfortable capturing event content or working with content creators to document the experience.

  • Clear communicator with the ability to work independently, remotely, and with a lean team.

  • Based in the US and able to travel regularly for events (with flexibility around timing and city location).

Bonus Skills:

Experience launching events from scratch or helping build a brand’s offline presence from 0 > 1.

  • Background in community-building, creator networks, or grassroots brand activations.

  • Familiarity with basic design or video tools (e.g. Canva, Figma, CapCut).

  • Previous experience with event software, tools, or coordination platforms (e.g. Notion, Airtable, Luma, Eventbrite).

Benefits

  • Work directly with founders shaping the brand from day one

  • A high-trust, creative-first environment with lots of ownership

  • Use your own ideas and campaigns to power growth

  • Be part of something early — and help define what great looks like

We’ve got two short challenge questions to get a feel for your thinking and style.

We’ll send over a quick form for you to drop in your responses - nothing too formal, just a chance to show us how you approach the role.

We’re excited to see what you come up with.
