Job Overview

Siteworks Inc., a leader in heavy civil construction, is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities. This role is critical to ensuring that our commercial, industrial, and government/federal infrastructure projects are executed with precision, safety, and efficiency. You'll serve as the key field leader, managing foremen and field personnel, while protecting the company's interests, upholding our standards, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily field operations on construction sites.
  • Develop and manage construction schedules and project timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and quality regulations, including OSHA.
  • Interpret project plans, specs, shop drawings, and mockups.
  • Coordinate labor allocation, materials, and equipment with the PM and logistics team.
  • Track job progress, costs, and maintain detailed site documentation.
  • Supervise site activities including utilities installation, trenching, and earthwork.
  • Mentor, train, and lead foremen and field staff for performance and development.
  • Conduct safety inspections and enforce health/safety standards.
  • Serve as the field liaison for clients, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Resolve issues related to weather, equipment, or unforeseen conditions on-site.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of heavy civil construction experience required.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory role over full projects.
  • Expertise in site utility installation (storm drainage, water, sewer).
  • Strong knowledge of trench safety, including trench boxes and hydraulic shoring.
  • Skilled in reading/interpreting construction blueprints and plans.
  • OSHA 10 Certification (minimum).
  • First Aid/CPR Certification Preferred.
