Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily field operations on construction sites.
- Develop and manage construction schedules and project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality regulations, including OSHA.
- Interpret project plans, specs, shop drawings, and mockups.
- Coordinate labor allocation, materials, and equipment with the PM and logistics team.
- Track job progress, costs, and maintain detailed site documentation.
- Supervise site activities including utilities installation, trenching, and earthwork.
- Mentor, train, and lead foremen and field staff for performance and development.
- Conduct safety inspections and enforce health/safety standards.
- Serve as the field liaison for clients, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
- Resolve issues related to weather, equipment, or unforeseen conditions on-site.
- 3-5 years of heavy civil construction experience required.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory role over full projects.
- Expertise in site utility installation (storm drainage, water, sewer).
- Strong knowledge of trench safety, including trench boxes and hydraulic shoring.
- Skilled in reading/interpreting construction blueprints and plans.
- OSHA 10 Certification (minimum).
- First Aid/CPR Certification Preferred.
