The Security Operation Engineers are IT professionals who protects an organization's computers, networks, software, hardware and data from malware and cyber-attacks, whether these components exist onsite on in the field.
- Analyzing data and metadata from various systems, including Xacta, Splunk, and internal systems to determine how various systems interact.
- The Security Operations Engineer identifies missing, inaccurate, or duplicate data.
- The Security Operations Engineer finds efficiencies and answering user questions.
- Utilizing collected data to generate and/or update reports and dashboards in Splunk.
- Identifying and articulating new risks and suggesting various methods of risk management to the Sponsor.

- Briefing management, as needed on the status of action items and/or results of these activities.

- Experience with Continuous Monitoring.
- Experience in related areas (Threat Hunting, Threat Analysis, Security Incident Response Experience)
- Years of industry experience in Security fields.
- Knowledge in any scripting language.
- Threat Hunting, Threat Detection, Vulnerability Management, & remediation techniques.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and complexity to all audiences.
