The Role

The Biddable Media Strategist at UNFOLD is responsible for managing and scaling paid social campaigns across auction-based platforms while applying structured performance strategy and optimization principles.

This is a growth-focused, hands-on role. The Strategist owns day-to-day campaign execution across multiple accounts, contributes to channel strategy development, and proactively identifies opportunities to improve performance. This role requires independent thinking, strong analytical skills, and a self-starter mentality while operating within UNFOLD's established strategic frameworks.

This is not a senior leadership position, but it requires autonomy, accountability, and strategic contribution.

Here’s What You’ll Do

Role Scope

  • Independently manage 5-10 client accounts
  • Execute and optimize across paid social platforms with increasing cross-channel exposure
  • Contribute to strategic planning and structured testing roadmaps
  • Report performance insights and recommend actionable next steps
  • Collaborate closely with creative and cross-functional teams

Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Develop campaign structures aligned to client KPIs and funnel objectives
  • Execute full-funnel paid social strategies using UNFOLD's performance frameworks
  • Build, launch, and manage campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Google Search, Reddit, and other auction-based platforms
  • Monitor pacing, performance, and budget allocation daily
  • Adjust bids, budgets, placements, targeting, and creative rotation based on performance data

Programmatic Lens & Cross-Channel Thinking

  • Apply programmatic principles to social buying, including audience layering, bid strategy testing, and structured retargeting
  • Understand how paid social integrates with broader programmatic, YouTube, and CTV efforts
  • Support audience sequencing and funnel progression strategies

Optimization & Testing

  • Build and execute structured testing plans (creative, audience, bid strategy, landing page experience)
  • Identify performance trends and recommend optimization strategies
  • Diagnose performance issues and implement corrective actions quickly

Creative & Data Collaboration

  • Partner with creative teams to translate performance data into actionable insights
  • Provide feedback on messaging, hooks, formats, and testing priorities
  • Conduct brand and funnel audits to identify conversion improvement opportunities

Client Communication & Reporting

  • Deliver clear weekly updates and monthly performance reporting
  • Translate media metrics into business-focused insights
  • Present findings and next-step recommendations confidently

Here’s What It Takes

  • 2+ years of hands-on paid social or biddable media experience, preferably within a fast-paced agency environment Entertainment experience (film, TV, streaming, or entertainment brands) strongly preferred
  • Experience managing campaigns independently with direct budget responsibility for 5-10 accounts
  • Platform experience across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Google (YouTube/Search), and Reddit
  • Understanding of programmatic fundamentals, auction dynamics, and Big Tech methodologies (OKRs, KPIs)
  • Strong grasp of performance metrics (CPA, ROAS, CAC, CVR, LTV basics)
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling)
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter mindset with independent thinking and proactive problem-solving ability
