Job Responsibilities
- Provisioning, Setup, and Configuration of Endpoints (Windows / Mac) for OS and permitted company applications for end-users
- Utilize common enterprise software like Microsoft AD and other systems to provision, new users, with requisite office productivity software according to role
- Respond to assigned Request Management/Incident Management tickets in a timely manner with good customer satisfaction
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and systems issues together with members of the Infrastructure, Cloud and Security Team
- Monitoring performance metrics to ensure SLAs are kept
- Forecasting usage of resources to ensure enough capacity for future use
- Maintain inventory of usage for the above hardware and software
- Manage disposals for eol items
- Create and Maintain relevant documentation including guides and troubleshooting guides for end-users.
- Ensure that security best practices are followed
- Act as an SME for Endpoints and Office Productivity
- Explore the latest IT technology for potential usage for office productivity.
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or extensive working experience in IT supporting an enterprise environment preferably in an FSI
- Hands-on experience the following:
- Installation and Configuration of Microsoft Windows desktops/notebooks
- Installation and Configuration of Apple Mac desktops/notebooks a plus
- Installation and Configuration of endpoint productivity software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and Adobe Sign
- Installation and Configuration of endpoint security software such as antivirus, DLP, and PAM.
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Authentication and User Management
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and MS365
- Working Knowledge of extracting and generating reports from the above software
- Working Knowledge of basic networking including WIFI access points and basic network troubleshooting
- Support end-users working together with external vendors if necessary
- Ability to do basic troubleshooting to solve user issues
- Ability to create accurate documentation including operational documents such as Change Requests and Reports
- Act as an SME for endpoints and office productivity software
- Secondary ability to perform server system administration (Windows and/or Linux) a strong plus
- Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
- Good communication skills written and spoken
- Good interpersonal skills in dealing with different people of different roles and responsibilities
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to visualize and plan troubleshooting steps.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other parties towards a common goal
