The Performance Nutrition Fellowship reports to the Director of Nutrition and is responsible for assisting with nutrition research, assessments, food service, and education. This is for the upcoming season beginning ~end of July for Training Camp through end of 2026 season. This is an hourly paid position with options for benefits and will conclude 1-2 weeks after the end of the team’s season.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists Director of Nutrition is all areas of player nutrition and health.
- Aids in all processes related to inventory; including but not limited to: ordering, receiving and the distribution of stock to various fueling stations.
- Creates and designs a visually appealing labeling system that adds an educational element to fueling stations, as well as educational handouts and manuals.
- Assists with travel nutrition needs for players, such as performance menus and post-game meals.
- Assists in developing and managing distribution of post-practice recovery shakes.
- Assists with daily nutrition operational tasks including but not limited to: meal coverage, hydration monitoring, athlete supplementation protocols and development of performance menus.
- Oversees home football game day operations and select away game operations.
- Counsels’ athletes as needed on proper nutrition, supplements, weight goals, and performance.
- Assists in the community nutrition efforts and program development.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:
- RD-eligible
- Sports nutrition experience (minimum 1 year)
- Experience in athletics, specifically football at least 1 year at a professional or high level D1 level
- Experience in food service
