Summary

The Research Study Specialist – Critical Care role coordinates research studies specific to Critical Care services at Maine Medical Center. This role interfaces with investigators, clinicians, patients and their family members in the critical care environment and with the IRB and study sponsors to enroll appropriate patients into clinical studies.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a health science or related field required.
  • License/Certifications: Certification by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals or Society of Clinical Research Associates preferred.
  • Experience: Experience in an ICU or other healthcare setting preferred.
