The Service Delivery Manager identifies a client's needs and oversees the delivery of the services within the context of the business. The foundation of this position is establishing processes to provide consistently high levels of client service in a cost-effective manner.


Responsibilities
  • The Service Delivery Manager defines and evolving delivery governance standards and best practices as well as monitoring their application and practice.
  • The Service Delivery Manager primary interfaces to client management regarding IT development service delivery.
  • Escalation point for delivery governance issues.
  • The Service Delivery Manager works directly with clients to ensures successful delivery of services (on time, to spec, within budget)
  • Setup ups and development of delivery organization in accordance to the growing service scope and service requirements.
  • Takes the responsibility for the resource management and shift planning in accordance to the service requirements.
  • Establish and implements project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time.
  • Assembles project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis.

Qualifications
  • The ability to assimilate information quickly and accurately be able to see the bigger picture as well as the ability to anticipate.
  • Client-facing experience as well as staff to senior management.
  • The ability to defuse potentially heated situations, Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, Strong leaderships skills.
  • Strong people management skills - e.g. experience in managing multiple teams, large projects and/or support functions.
  • Project Management, Software Application Design, Client Relations Management, People Management.
  • Must have experience in managing multiple teams, large projects and/or support functions.
  • The ability to influence others at all levels, particularly at very senior level.
  • Sound understanding of Service Management and clear commitment to Service Management Framework. .
