Responsibilities
- The ALM Expert integrates Micro Focus-ALM with SAP Solution Manager, and resolves any interfacing errors in a timely manner.
- The ALM Expert uses industry best practices to achieve operational excellence.
- The ALM Expert provides tactical and strategic support to INC2 Systems Architects on Micro Focus ALM and SAP Solution Manager integration.
- Optional: Installs, upgrades and administers Micro Focus ALM suite in a dynamically evolving program environment.
- Administers security and permissions between multiple concurrent program and project cycles to ensure effective partitioning where needed.
- Monitors environments, users, projects and domains.
- Optional: Maintains App/web and database Servers.
- Generates weekly reports during release testing cycles.
Qualifications
- Experience in administration of Micro Focus QC or AP ALM in complex SAP projects, preferably in Federal or DoD organizations.
- Proficiency in the administration and maintenance of multiple Micro Focus QC and ALM systems and have sufficient knowledge of underlying concepts.
- Proficiency in Structured Query Language SQL queries and report generation.
- Familiarity with various database technologies.
- Previous experience with continuous integration tools and source management systems.
- Experience with Agile and Lean methodologies.
- Working knowledge of Micro Focus QTP/FT/UFT is a big plus.
- Solution Manager experience.
