Cloud Engineer responsibilities will be the second line in resolving cloud infrastructure issues to provide immediate support. Taking ownership of customer’s issue as reported and seeing problems through the resolution, researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve cloud infrastructure issues.

Responsibilities
- Build, design, deploy, maintain and lead the implementations of Cloud solutions across Multi Cloud platform - AWS | Azure | GCP.
- Advanced knowledge of Cloud Reference Architectures and Landing Zones.
- Create, manage, monitor, and decommission cloud systems, network services and other cloud services to support internal and external projects.
- Should have a very strong knowledge of Cloud services and its operations.
- Troubleshooting the alerts to resolve within the defined SLAs based on PRIORITIES and maintain the SLAs/OLAs.
- Should have knowledge of 2/3 Tier architecture.
- Provide assistance to L1 Engineers as an escalation point and drive outage bridges to resolution.
- Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document incidents. Implement preventive measures across the multiple infrastructure layers (OS / Network / App).
- Document and implement the Cloud best practices as per the Compliance standards.
- Provide cost optimization plans for our clients.
- Participate in technology evaluation and reengineering teams to support strategy-definition and continuous process improvement activities.
- Communicate the designs and work with the team in agile execution.
- Work with the business clients to understand their needs and to implement the cloud strategies designs to meet the expectations.
- Undertake knowledge transfer from peers or customer during transitions.
- Prepare process and procedures orientation (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Extensive experience evaluating, onboarding and managing new technologies/services/features..
- Excellent understanding and experience with IT compliance and risk management (Security, Privacy, SOX, HIPAA, PCI etc.)
- Communicate the designs and work with the team in agile execution.
- Sound knowledge over DevOps lifecycle and hands on build/test/deploy tools (In house/3rd Party).
- Extensive knowledge over ITSM and ITOM tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field.
- Prior experience with cloud service providers is preferred.
- Strong infrastructure troubleshooting, process workflow and communication skills are requirement.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework.
- Must be willing to work in shift operations in a 24/7/365 rotational work environment.
