Customer Support Managers lead teams of customer support specialists to ensure that clients receive assistance with the technical aspects of products or services.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise customer service team, coaches, train and motivates staff to perform effectively.
  • Creates an environment where employees feel valuable to the organization.
  • The Customer Support Manager respond to customer inquiries, reaches out to customer service teams when they have questions about products or services.
  • Ensures that responses are accurate and provided in a timely manner, regardless of the channel.
  • The Customer Support Manager develops policies and procedures and follow to resolve customer inquiries.
  • The Customer Support Manager requires constant review and revision as customer needs change and the business evolves.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to maintain calm under pressure.
  • A thorough knowledge of the product or service the company they work for is offering.
  • Administrative skills.
  • Computer literacy in order to type up reports, results and details of customer interaction.
