Responsibilities
- Application Disaster Recovery plan development and maintenance.
- Support of Disaster Recovery exercises for infrastructure and application teams.
- The Disaster Recovery Specialist performs maintenance and supports updates to the Business Continuity Management System.
- The Disaster Recovery Specialist works closely with Business Continuity, as well as business and application teams.
- The Disaster Recovery Specialist ensures that business requirements are captured within the solution designed for recovery.
- Supports key metric deliverables related to Disaster Recovery, Disaster Recovery process document maintenance.
- Contributes to the IT Incidents resolving as a backup resource in case of necessity. .
Qualifications
- Disaster Recovery program experience, Business Continuity/ Disaster Recovery program certificate or equivalent is a plus.
- Working knowledge in change management, configuration, knowledge management, release and deployment management.
- Ability to deal effectively with conflict using negotiation skills, Strong organizational, planning and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and communicate regularly with project leadership and client points of contact.
- Ability to work independently as required, with a strong commitment to team environment.
- Understand the Quality Assurance process.
- Proven success in working with clients to meet overall organization requirements.
- Deliverable driven and able to work with limited oversight. Able to gather and analyze data. .
