Responsibilities
- The Front-end Designer designs and develops functional and appealing web and mobile-based applications based on usability.
- Cooperates with product team and developer team on mockups and prototypes.
- Writes functional requirement documents and specifications, Assist Back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting.
- The Front End Designer provides website maintenance and enhancements, Maintains graphic standards and branding throughout the product interface.
- Stays up-to-date on emerging technologies.
- The Front-end Designer contributes to the Front-end development architecture.
- Integrates code with the Back-end development team. Identifies and communicates Front-end best practices.
- The Front-end Designer delivers innovative, engaging prototypes using the latest in Front-end technologies .
Qualifications
- Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations.
- Experience with version control and best practices.
- Able to work in a team environment, Eager to learn.
- Proven experience creating and developing high-quality online properties.
- Knowledge of and competency in all major new media design software.
- Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization techniques for maximizing web visibility throughout design process.
- Knowledge of interface design for web applications.
- Knowledge of building online audiences and communities. .
