The Functional Tester manages departmental inventory and troubleshoot testing, reports and inventory issues. The Functional Tester develops test case scenarios for functional testing of web application develop in JAVA and XML

Responsibilities

  • The Functional Tester implement and document benchmarks on SWIFT Alliance Access.
  • The Functional Tester helps developing a capacity planning roadmap for the SWIFT Network product team.
  • The Functional Tester tests SWIFT systems capacity from both backend and front ends by developing repeatable cases for the SWIFT infrastructure.
  • The Functional Tester manages UNIX system workstations in ATM test team and troubleshooting system problems.
  • The Functional Tester tests the build relate scripts as part of the ETL process, automate the process of loading, pulling the data.
  • The Functional Tester Define web service interfaces using WSDL and XML schemas.vDefine web service interfaces using WSDL and XML schemas.
  • The Functional Tester defines web service interfaces using WSDL and XML schemas.
  • The Functional Tester involved in testing webmethods, validate the generated XML messages.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Unix and any programming language.
  • Experience in Jira and Confluence applications.
  • Practical experience with UNIX Shell Scripting .
  • Experience working in a Non-Functional Test role with strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Good service delivery skills with the other teams in the department.
  • Have formal qualifications such as a degree in Computer Science.
  • Be a conversant with software functioning testing processes and methodologies.
  • Experience in using Selenium to create quick bug reproduction scripts and create scripts to aid in automation aided exploratory testing.
