Responsibilities
- Android software architecture and development.
- Assists with production releases and deployments in a cross-functional team.
- The Android Developer develops and documents release pipelines, deployment plans.
- Designs and develops features for Android application that benefit the key client segments and partners.
- Pioneers, develops, and pilots new application features aimed to both retain and monetize the user base.
- Must have implemented end to end application and have gone through marketplace release process.
- The Android Developer develops and maintains the ever-growing code base that supports the Workday Android Application.
- The Android Developer participates in code reviews and contributes to raising the quality of our product.
Qualifications
- Experience building modern Android software.
- Able to think critically and creatively to identify solutions to both engineering and client problems.
- Experience with communication protocols and their implementations.
- Experience writing and shipping quality tested code.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects and teams for timely deployment.
- Demonstrated architecture design thinking and ability to clearly communicate and document your designs.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute as an individual contributor within a fast-paced team environment.
- Experience or interest in security and cryptography, hardware, and connected devices.
