Responsibilities
- The Network Security Expert designs, installs, and troubleshoots network and security solutions.
- The Network Security Expert provides network engineering consulting services, including assessment, implementation of network and security products/solution.
- The Network Security Expert develops graphical and text-based design and effectively manage the implementation process from design to client acceptance.
- Makes network upgrade and configuration recommendations based on performance metrics and capacity planning.
- The Network Security Expert leads network security technology strategy development and execution.
- Develops and manages network security operating budget.
- Oversees the technical implementations of complex multi-site projects/solutions.
- Develops strong working relationships to allow the effective exchange of ideas and information.
Qualifications
- Experience in an information security related field in an enterprise environment.
- Expertise in network systems and security required.
- Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and deploy network security solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Networking Routing Protocols.
- Maintain knowledge of new and emerging network security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Experience with both wired and wireless network security devices and next generation firewalls.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Industry certifications strongly desired. .
