Responsibilities
- The SAP Developer monitors and maintains SAP system environments for optimum performance and be proactive in identifying potential problems.
- The SAP Developer plans and coordinates SAP maintenance activities like OS patching, OS/DB Migration, System copies, upgrades, and releases in coordination with other teams.
- The SAP Developer leads the delivery of key aspects of projects within the area of SAP Basis.
- Works with functional consultants to document and converts functional requirements into technical specifications and applications.
- Participates in the analysis of the business operations to validate requirements and scope, suggest process improvements and assist in level of effort.
- Supports end-users acceptance testing activities, and participates in production operations and Release Management support.
- Works with the basis team to debugs system issues and root causes.
- Researches and promotes the use of the latest technologies running on SAP S/4.
Qualifications
- Experience in SAP, including large complex SAP environment projects.
- Experience in handling performance tuning issues specific to S4/HANA and HANA.
- Experience with SAP system sizing, HANA landscape design, architecture, and setup, data volume management and troubleshooting.
- Excellent track record of delivering SAP upgrades, migrations and other SAP Basis related projects.
- Hands-on experience in developing and designing custom applications.
- Solid debugging skills
- Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
