Virtualization Administrator is needed as per following roles, responsibilities and minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities
- virtual environment set up and maintenance, in addition to traditional sysadmin duties.
- installing the hypervisor, configuring, provisioning, troubleshooting and deploying VMs and managing pools and clusters.
- ensuring security and compliance, troubleshooting potential issues and effectively communicating and addressing any problems throughout the development and day-to-day management of the virtual infrastructure
- The virtualization administrator also creates and maintains documentation and establishes backup and recovery procedures.
- participate heavily in planning client infrastructures. This entails gathering system data, researching possible solutions, developing and presenting their design ideas, and thoughtfully evaluating suggestions from others. In addition, they evaluate industry trends and assist in implementing standards and best practices.
- Install, configure as well as maintain storage hardware backup inclusive of physical plus virtual tape libraries or drives along with disk storage targets. Ensure to install as well as configure Backup software on UNIX or Linux as well as Windows systems.
- Perform activities related to install, configure and managing SAN / NAS devices
- Manage NetApp snapshot as well as recovery methods for storage volumes. Execute across-site replication of significant DR data.
- Supervise volume replication overnight jobs and execute improvements. Maintaining, manage and install Citrix applications.
- Install and update Xenapp farms.
- Design, plan and secure Citrix CV A environments.
- Develop the infrastructure that the Citrix farms run on.
- Troubleshooting and fixing any technical issues related to Citrix applications. Other work related to virtual, storage and backup environment.
Qualifications
- University degree in Computer/Electronics Engineering/Science/Information Technology.
- VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization (DCV). VMware Certified Professional - Cloud Management and Automation. VMware Certified Professional - Network Virtualization.
- Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA-V).
- Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP-V).
- Citrix Certified Expert - App Delivery and Security - (CCE - AppDS). Practical skills required for the installation, configuration and management of VMware ESX.
- In-depth knowledge of VMware vCenter, HA, DRS, NSX, vSAN, etc. Excellent troubleshooting abilities and in-depth knowledge of ESX platform. Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking.
- Experience with ESX performance tuning.
- Good understanding of NetApp SAN/NAS storage technologies.
- good experience for on-premise, cloud, hybrid environments
- Must be adept at identifying and eliminating performance bottlenecks and making performance -related recommendations (hardware, software and configuration).
- Familiarity with data replication technologies, server migration and disaster recovery strategies (VWmare SRM).
- Working knowledge of the guest operating system such as Windows, Solaris, etc.
- Familiarity with security issues and best practices in virtual environments. Minimum 5 years of experience in virtualization.
- Good understanding of NetApp/ SAN NAS storage technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of Cluster Mode ONTAP.
- Advanced knowledge of MetroCluster.
- Experience with Upgrading ONT AP.
- Experience in implementing vSphere Crusting, HA, DRS, NSX, vSAN and vMotion.
- Experience in implementing Virtualization disaster recovery.
- Experience in implementing VMware Virtual Desktop infrastructure solution. Experience in implementing Citrix XenApp & XenDesktop.
- Experience in implementing Citrix NetScaler.
