The Digital Animation Artist produces images that appear to come to life on screen. The Digital Animation Artist work is found in feature films, commercials, pop videos, computer games, websites and other media.
- Attends primary animation reviews to gather notes from show Creative Leadership.
- Creating and animating diverse designs of callout titles and visual concepts for the different titles and brands.
- The Digital Animation Artist works closely with the video staff to execute content and editorial staff for grammatical and contest considerations.
- The Digital Animation Artist develops and executes designs based on the direction of the creative director and video editors.
- Reviews designs, scripts and breakdown decisions to assist the CG Animation Director and/or Animation Supervisor.
- When requested, animates characters in a variety of styles.
- Attends storyboard and animatic reviews as workload allows.
- The Digital Animation Artist edit video and cut-downs in the video post-production process.
- Strong animation skills.
- Solid technical understanding of models and rigs.
- Ability to work in fast-paced production environment under tight deadlines.
- Experience with asset management software.
- Understand animation techniques.
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Must be proficient in After Effects)
- 3D experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong ability to create character models, environments, and assets for videos.
