RF Design Engineer
Radio-frequency engineering, or RF engineering, is a subset of electrical and electronic engineering involving the application of transmission line, waveguide, antenna and electromagnetic field principles to the design and application of devices that produce or utilize signals within the radio band.
- Reports daily updates, schedules, issues, resolutions, and completions to the RF Design and Optimization Manager and Senior Project Coordinator.
- The RF Design Engineer is responsible for IBS / WIFI (DAS) Designing and Planning using IBWave Design Tool.
- The RF Design Engineer provides Link & power budget calculation & Bill of Quantity arrangement.
- The RF Design Engineer conducts walk test / drive test and optimization to ensure coverage and quality and meet client’s expectation.
- The RF Design Engineer is responsible for pre & post implementation walk test.
- Recommends radio parameters modification for client’s implementation.
- Determines problems and make appropriate actions and decisions to solve them.
- Attends client’s meeting and RF acceptance with client.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, Excellent work ethic.
- A graduate of Electronics and Communications Engineering.
- Experience in using iBwave, NEMO, TEMS software application is an advantage.
- Experience in IBS planning & network optimization is an advantage.
- Experience and technical capabilities with: Electromagnetic Wave Theory, Transmission Line Theory, Antenna Theory, RF Circuit Theory.
- Experience and technical capabilities with: Analog design of high speed A/D (Analog/Digital), Digital signal processing, Antenna design.
- Experience with PCB layout for microwave applications.
- Desire for continuous learning and to integrate new technologies.
