The Application Support Analyst implement and maintain computer systems. Usual work duties of the Application Support Analyst includes providing technical support to users, preparing documentation, training staff, improving system usability, and supporting corporate strategies
- The Application Support Analyst provides second-level application software support for multiple products.
- Managed defect Management project for various Treasury Services applications to track issues.
- The Application Support Analyst works with vendors on change management, ultimately be fixed in future releases and reduce the number of recurring issues.
- Provides second level application support on the applications.
- Analyzes system errors and troubleshoot network, server, and database errors.
- Supports and troubleshoot software applications including both proprietary and non-proprietary.
- The Application Support Analyst works and communicate with business critical issues across multiple teams.
- Analyzes, functional design, troubleshooting, documentation, and testing of updates and defect repairs the system functionality.
- Previous experience in an IT Helpdesk / Application or Software Support role.
- Client facing skills acquired from a Consultancy or Software House
- Knowledge of server hardware and configurations; particularly Microsoft products.
- Microsoft Windows (including Windows Server) and basic networking knowledge.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work with limited supervision
- Desirably educated to degree level
- Computer proficiency, communication skills, analytical thinking, troubleshooting abilities, accuracy, and teamwork
- Interest in keeping up to date with the latest technologies .
